BUFFALO BORN
Buffalo Rehab Group was founded in 1990 by three friends from Ithaca College: Marty Lambert, Pat O’Connor, and Paula Zablonski. With a shared vision, they took a leap of faith, setting out to create something special. Current CEO, Jeff Woodrich, joined the group in 1993, determined to bring clinical excellence into the community and the profession. Shortly followed by Ray Hammel (CFO) in 1998, Eric Herman (CCO) in 2002, and Steve Gonser (CMO) in 2009.
Our partners were born and raised in Western New York, and each of them instilled with a deep passion for serving the community they grew up in. From our first location on Union Road in 1995, to thirteen locations currently, our goal has never changed – to help our community get their lives back.
