This specialized treatment addresses specific triggers of pelvic floor dysfunction with exercises, breathing techniques, and manual therapy.

COMMON QUESTIONS ABOUT PELVIC FLOOR PHYSICAL THERAPY
What will my first therapy session entail?
During your first visit, our Pelvic Health Specialist will go over your medical history and perform a brief physical exam. If needed, an internal exam will be conducted to assess your pelvic floor muscles for tone, elasticity, and pain and tenderness. No internal exam will be performed without your written consent.
What level of privacy do you offer?
The treatment of pelvic floor dysfunction is both a personal and private matter. All screenings and internal treatments will be performed in a private exam room. External treatments, such as physical exercises, may be performed in our clinic.
Where are you located?
Treatment with a Pelvic Health Specialist is available in our Williamsville YMCA, Village of Hamburg, and Depew locations.
Is Pelvic Floor Physical Therapy covered by insurance?
Yes. Pelvic Floor Physical Therapy is covered by insurance. Here is a list of the health insurances we currently accept.
Do I need a referral to begin Pelvic Floor Physical Therapy?
No. You may begin physical therapy treatment of pelvic floor dysfunction without a referral from your physician.
