Jill Mayer, PT DPT NCS

Physical Therapist

West Seneca

Jill grew up in Lancaster, NY, and started working at Buffalo Rehab Group in the spring of 2024. She graduated from Ithaca College, and her passion for Neurologic Physical Therapy led her to begin her career at a large rehabilitation hospital in northern New Jersey. After several years of working with patients with a wide variety of neurologic diagnoses (Stroke, Spinal Cord Injury, Brain Injury, Parkinson’s Disease, Multiple Sclerosis, etc.), she and her family moved back to Ithaca, NY, where she taught in the college’s Physical Therapy Department and continued working as a clinician in both inpatient and outpatient settings.

In 2015, Jill became a Board-Certified Neurologic Clinical Specialist and has centered her clinical passion around helping those with neurologic conditions achieve their full potential. She has always found the brain and spinal cord fascinating and, despite all odds, knows that the body has an immense ability to adapt and recover. She is committed to helping people improve their function and quality of life after a neurologic injury.

Jill moved back “home” to Buffalo in the winter of 2023 with her husband and three young children. She currently works at Buffalo Rehab Group, treating patients and teaching Neurologic Physical Therapy to students at Daemen University. She loves the Buffalo Bills and spending time outside with her family.
