Garnet grew up in Cropseyville, a rural town on the edge of NY and Vermont. He graduated from Tamarac High School and attended The University at Buffalo for undergraduate study in Exercise Science and graduate school for Physical Therapy.
He currently lives with his fiance, Autumn, and their dog, Nio. They live in North Buffalo and spend their weekends fixing up their recently purchased home, camping, mountain biking, and skiing/snowboarding. Garnet participates in non-competitive powerlifting and bodybuilding as well.
Garnet was initially interested in physical therapy following several sports-related injuries in high school. His interest continued after following his grandmother and younger brother through respective episodes of Physical Therapy. He has a particular interest in low-back rehab following a personal injury in his early 20’s.
Buffalo has been home to Garnet for 10 years, and he joined Buffalo Rehab’s team in 2015. On weekend evenings, you can find Garnet enjoying music at the Town Ballroom and indulging in his guilty pleasure of WNY pizza!
