Two Total-Body Exercises
Want exercises that improve your health, build strength, and prevent injury? The two exercises below are a perfect add-on to your routine.
Here’s what you need to know:
Most exercises isolate muscle groups to build strength. Unfortunately, in your daily life, muscles are never isolated.
Muscles fire in sequences to help you complete day-to-day tasks. For this reason, it’s important that you also train muscles in sequences — called “functional training.”
Besides helping your daily life, functional training can also help you burn more calories and save time.
All you need to get started is a piece of exercise tubing or cable machine. Exercise tubing is ideal as it’s inexpensive, travels easily, and doesn’t take up any room in your home.
Take a look at the video below.
Outlined are two exercises that you can use today to enhance your exercise routine.
Try These Exercises
These two exercises are great for improving shoulder and back strength.
Start with one to three sets of ten, depending on your current level of strength. Different color bands represent different resistance. Here’s a list from easy-to-hard:
- Yellow
- Red
- Green
- Blue
- Black
- Grey
