DOES THIS SOUND FAMILIAR?

Your clothes feel tighter, and your shoes or jewelry don’t fit right. The heaviness in your arms or legs is making life difficult. You’ve been recommended water pills and exercise, but neither are helping. This is often a result of Lymphedema. While there’s no known cure for the condition, you can take control of it — and we can help. Our Certified Lymphedema Therapists will teach you how to manage your symptoms and prevent future complications.

WHAT IS LYMPHEDEMA THERAPY?

Lymphedema Therapy or Complete Decongestive Therapy is a multi-layered, noninvasive approach to managing the symptoms of Lymphedema. Manual lymphatic drainage and massage, compression, exercise, and skin care work together to reduce swelling, increase mobility, improve skin condition, and enhance your overall quality of life.

COMPRESSION SOCKS ARE NOT THE ONLY ANSWER

Compression socks are necessary to Lymphedema Therapy – but treatment is so much more than that. Through noninvasive therapy techniques and an individualized plan, treatment can help you manage your symptoms and provides much-needed relief from swelling, discomfort, and feelings of embarrassment. To learn more about your treatment options, schedule an appointment with a Certified Lymphedema Therapist.
