Michelle grew up in Watertown, NY, which is pleasantly sandwiched between the Adirondacks and the Thousand Islands, where her father fostered her love of hiking and boating. She has lived in WNY for many years and resides in Elma, NY. Michelle loved her clinical internship at the East Amherst BRG so much that she returned as a PTA for the Depew location in May 2021. Michelle received her B.A. from SUNY Fredonia and her A.S. from Villa Maria College.
She became interested in the field of physical therapy after sustaining severe injuries when she was hit by a car while riding her bicycle. During her own PT, she fell in love with the profession and did not want to leave her new “family” who gave her a piece of her life back. She became a volunteer at that clinic and was subsequently hired as a PT Aide. Today, she is proud to be a part of a team helping others get back a piece of their lives. Outside of work, Michelle loves hiking, running, composing and performing music, wildlife rehabilitation, cooking vegan, and is planning to develop a self-sufficient farm with her family.
