Degree: Physical Therapist Assistant
Cole is a Physical Therapist Assistant who graduated from Villa Maria College in 2016. Prior to that he worked in manufacturing and building maintenance before pursuing a career in Physical Therapy, a dream from high school that never came into reality. Cole attended Eden High School where he gained an athletic background in volleyball and weight training.
In addition to being a Physical Therapist Assistant, Cole is also a yoga instructor at Power Yoga Buffalo, with locations throughout Western New York. He began training with the Baptiste Power Yoga Institute in 2013 and continues through the present day. Cole prides himself on bringing the motivational tools he acquired as a yoga instructor into his interactions with patients, in hopes of inspiring individuals to do their best and achieve their goals.
In his free time Cole enjoys cultivating his own yoga practice (both on dry land and on a stand-up paddle board), playing disc-golf, reading, and spending time with friends and family. Additionally, Cole has volunteered for the non-profit organizations Feed My Starving Children and The Queen City Yoga Project.
“I do what I do because I love to see growth in the people I interact with, both patients and students alike. I enjoy challenging myself and others to grow and improve whatever situation they are facing in life; whether its rehabbing an injured shoulder, finding alignment in a yoga pose, or if someone is just having a bad day, I want to help. Like Ghandi once said, ‘You must be the change you wish to see in the world,’ and I am grateful that I get to help change others for the better on a daily basis.”
